Derik Aldridge
Sr. Business Consultant / GM

Derik Aldridge founded Eclipse Consulting, Inc. (ECI) in 1997. With humble beginnings as a jr. progress programmer for a database firm, Derik has shaped ECI to become a leader in the ERP Software Consulting Industry. He has personally been consulting on Syteline, Symix and MFG/Pro for the past 13 years. In addition to providing high-level business consulting, Derik is an experienced programmer with years of data conversion and application development to pull from. Presently, Derik is leading the ECI team in providing Syteline upgrades, Syteline implementations and customizations, QAD Migrations and full Implementations, custom reports, integrations, training, data conversion & transformation services to midsize manufacturers of specialized transport, material handling, oil and gas exploration, media separation, flow sensors equipment, as well as a variety of food-packaging manufacturers.
In the last six years, Derik has personally worked on 30 Syteline 7 (SL7) implementations, three (but growing) Syteline 8 installations and one Syteline 8 upgrade. The first of these SQL Syteline implementations was a multi-lingual, multi-site, and multi-national (global) company with 117 business organizations located in seven countries which fit right in with some of the interesting projects in which ECI has played a leading role. Derik, supported by the team at ECI, brought this client from Oracle 8i to Syteline 7.02.05, then upgraded them later to SL7.04.20. This was the first vendor-independent implementation and was a beaming success for all involved. Throughout this project and many others before and after, ECI has developed a solid reputation for figuring out solutions where none have existed.
Over the years, Derik has managed several ERP implementations. He has held roles such as: Syteline7 Implementation Consultant, Systems Consultant, Staff IS Consultant, IS Manager, Project Manager, Planning Manager, Procurement Manager, Independent Progress Consultant, and Programmer/Analyst.
Derik is an Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and studied Mechanical Engineering at Mercer University in Macon, GA. He is a private pilot, a member of Mensa, and a proud Eagle Scout.
But, more importantly, Derik is very proud of the robust team ECI brings to any project and looks forward to serving the Syteline & MFG/Pro Communities for many years to come.
