Company Need:
"Eclipse Consulting was contacted by a Global European-based Manufacturer of industrial components for multiple industries. The company was undertaking a multi-country, multi-language pack Go-Live stretched over the course of 18 months. In the extensive piloting and testing the in-house resources had accomplished, problems were found with Multi-Site Replication which were associated when multi lingual databases were brought on-line."
Eclipse Solution:
"Eclipse Consulting provided consultants first in a remote capacity (and later onsite in Europe for a few weeks) to assist in reviewing Multisite SL7 Replication between the already-live three sites and ensure things would work smoothly in the future, when the other sites with different languages came online."

"The company is now live with eight sites – additional countries will come on line over the next 2 years, this has been assisted by the replication that has been put in place which Eclipse has created."
SSI Shredding 
"Earlier this year, we (SSI Shredding) engaged Eclipse Consulting to help with our upgrade from Syteline 5 to Syteline 7. We also needed to understand the differences between MRP and APS, as well as how to use APS better, in general. Principally, we engaged Ed Kale and Derik Aldridge. Derik helped with the general upgrade requirement, while Ed focused in on processes and APS.
Overall, SSI's implementation of Syteline 7 was a success because of the assistance and expertise of Eclipse Consulting. We were looking for a consultant to help us implement Syteline 7 within our budget. Eclipse was very willing to share information you wouldn't necessarily find in a training guide so we could focusing on getting the job done in the shortest and most efficient approach possible (3 ½ months). Even though Eclipse Consulting was hired for minimal consulting hours; their dedication to the success of our Syteline 7 project went beyond the call of duty. Derik would, gladly, schedule time during non-typical business hours (e.g. evenings, weekends, and very late nights and into the morning during our go-live weekend).
SSI would definitely recommend and hire Eclipse, again, for any future projects for our ERP System."

"Ed was very effective in working with each person in our office. As the Master Scheduler in a new company, I was stressed and had never heard of Syteline. Ed had a calming effect on me, and was very generous with his Syteline knowledge as well as his vast real-world business experience using the application. Because APS is a fairly new product, Ed did have limitations in knowledge not bridged by his MRP experience, but would go home and obviously spend the afternoon and evening researching various knowledge resources to obtain information and definition. He would present his findings and assist us in applying the solution to our environment. He was effective at identifying where our broken processes would cause problems within the Syteline application (i.e. bad shop floor transactions and how APS schedules Resource Groups).
